What this is
Lingu partners with language schools, colleges and universities to deliver a full language learning platform — adaptive placement, A1 to C1 courses, interactive classrooms, an AI practice partner, authoring tools and APIs.
Two kinds of institution use it. The platform is the same; the reason you need it is not.
Private language schools. You already teach well. You want a serious digital layer — an LMS, adaptive placement, an AI practice partner and a course library — without building and maintaining it yourself. Lingu becomes that platform, while your teachers, methodology and student relationships stay entirely yours.
Universities and faculties. Your engineering, business or medical faculty needs to bring international students up to the English level the degree demands — without standing up a language department to do it. Lingu delivers the placement, content and progression tracking; your faculty stays focused on its own discipline.
The learning experience
Adult students learn a language in the gaps of a full life — between meetings, after the children are asleep, on the commute. The platform combines live classes with your teachers, self-paced course content they can move through on their own schedule, and an AI practice partner that is available the other twenty-three hours of the day. Structure when they need a teacher; flexibility when they don't.
Why it matters: pure self-study stalls without accountability, and a fixed classroom schedule doesn't survive a busy working week. The hybrid model keeps momentum between sessions — teacher contact for feedback and accountability, self-paced material for flexibility, and daily AI practice so skills don't decay between classes.

Lingu is the platform partner; your school owns the student relationship, the live teaching and the commercial offer to your market. We don't sell a fully white-labelled product.
Lingu sells direct to consumers globally via lingu.com, but our partnership terms can include market-specific arrangements — geographic, language, audience or channel. The right balance is something we agree per partnership, not a blanket policy. Bring your market context to the discovery call.
English is our deepest course library on lingu.com today, covering A1 to C1 with exam prep tracks. Norwegian is delivered through our sister site lingu.no. Additional languages will be added on the same platform over time. If your school needs a specific language we don't yet offer, raise it in the discovery call — partner demand directly shapes our roadmap.
No. The LMS is built around how language teachers already work — planning, teaching, grading, giving feedback. Onboarding takes a few hours per teacher, and our team runs that with you. Once teachers are set up, the day-to-day feels like teaching, not configuring software.
Yes. Our authoring tools let you bring your own courses, modules and exam prep materials onto Lingu. Your content is hosted on our infrastructure, taught through our classrooms, and sits alongside the Lingu library. You retain ownership and editorial control of anything you author.
Yes. Our APIs cover enrolment, progress, results and reporting. Most partners connect Lingu to a student information system, a CRM, a billing system and at least one analytics or reporting tool. Where you need something we don't yet expose, the scoping call is where we work out what's possible.

A typical pilot launches within four to six weeks of signing. A wider rollout follows the pilot, usually within another six to eight weeks. Schools with simpler integration scopes move faster; those with deeper SIS or CRM work take longer.
