36 cohort classes
Three 60-minute live sessions per week with the same teacher and the same classmates.

3 teacher assessments

English Fast-track is a 12-week instructor-led cohort for adult learners at B1 or above who want a measurable step up in their English. You join a group of peers at your level, work with the same Cambridge-qualified teacher every week, and follow a structured curriculum from start to finish.
Three things make this different from booking ad-hoc classes. First, the same teacher and the same classmates for 12 weeks — accountability that solo learners and drop-in students rarely build. Second, a curriculum that progresses week by week, not a buffet of unrelated topics. Third, three teacher assessments — at the start, in the middle, and at the end — so you finish with a clear, evidence-based view of how far you've come.
Between cohort sessions, your AI practice partner gives you immediate pronunciation, grammar, and writing feedback. AI augments the teacher; AI does not replace the teacher.
Fast-track also includes full access to English Live for the duration of your cohort: 8 additional drop-in group classes per month, unlimited webinars, and the entire self-study library. Miss a Tuesday cohort class? Drop into a Wednesday English Live group on the same topic — no class missed, no momentum lost.
Three cohort classes
60 minutes each. Same teacher, same classmates. Reading, listening, vocabulary, structured speaking practice.
One cohort speaking session
Smaller group, longer turns. Built around scenarios you'll actually use — meetings, interviews, presentations.
One short writing task
Submitted to your teacher. Returned with personalised written feedback within a few days.
Self-paced practice with AI
Pronunciation, conversation, grammar drills — on your phone, between live sessions. About 2–3 hours.
A teacher-signed completion certificate, a written recommendation for your next CEFR level, and three teacher assessments documenting your progress from start to finish. The certificate is something you can show an employer or admissions office — not an auto-generated PDF.
B1 or above. If you're not sure, take the free placement test — it tells you your CEFR level in about five minutes and recommends the right starting point.
Plan for around 5–7 hours: roughly 4 hours of live classes plus 1–3 hours of self-study with the AI practice partner and library. Cohort students who put in this much time consistently are the ones who complete and pass their target exam.
Drop into the equivalent English Live group class on another day, on the same topic. Fast-track includes full English Live access for the duration of your cohort, so you don't lose ground when life gets in the way.
It's signed by your teacher and backed by three documented teacher assessments — start, middle, and end — that show your progress. It is not a recognised state exam (Cambridge, IELTS); we prepare students for those, but the issuing body is the exam board, not Lingu.
Lingu reserves the right to reschedule a cohort that does not meet minimum enrolment. If we cancel, you choose: full refund, transfer to the next cohort, or convert your payment into 12 months of English Live.
A cohort is sold as a single 12-week programme. Refund and transfer terms are presented at checkout — please read them before enrolling, since cohorts run on fixed schedules.
